There are two types of motor factors in the world, the ones that build a business based on working with their customers and the others. D&A motor factors were founded in 1974 by David Barn & Alistair Brown. David, is still the Managing Director of the company while Alistair is now enjoying his retirement. The day to day business is now run by Dave’s son, Scott Barn. D&A have been working continually to build the trust of, thousands of customers, in the nearly 50 years since D&A opened in the Cowgate in the centre of Dundee.
The reason we’re now offering our parts and services from six locations across the region is because we still work hard to earn the loyalty and trust of our customers every day. The local specialists in each of our branches are backed up by one of the biggest trading groups in the independent aftermarket and a strong trade association. The combination of D&A, GROUPAUTO and the IAAF means that as a customer you can rest assured, we have the parts, the systems and the attitude you need for us to deliver on our promises.
